I'm feeling it. Seasons come and go, but for us men the heat always seems to be crankin'. Bills, insurance, retirement, savings, debt, leadership, marriage, dating, working out, and, uh, oh yeah, Jesus.
When the thermostat goes up, my mind strays far from spirituality and glues itself instead to what my two hands and brain can accomplish without the aid of my Maker.
Scripture is like slamming the thermostat to 60 and letting that A/C rip. Worship like diving into a crystal-clear pool. Prayer like taking a few gulps of a glass of ice water (cocktail umbrella optional).
The Big 3 keep me cool in the hot July weather, and the water is fine.
Dive on in.
